If Opera is an exciting company that emerged from the twenty-five-year-old Iford Arts festival. In 2023 we completed our second acclaimed season, working within the innovative repertory ensemble system and providing outstanding UK talent with exceptional opportunities.

From 23 - 31 August 2024, we will be back at the extraordinary Belcombe Court in Bradford on Avon with two new productions - Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermoor, one of the most revered and dramatic operas in the repertoire, and the gorgeous and hilarious Die Fledermaus by Johann Strauss II. Both offer a memorable evening for your guests.

Client Engagement

• Our opera and picnic proms performances offer the perfect backdrop for client entertainment.

• If Opera’s performances take place in the magical grounds of Grade I listed Belcombe Court. The house is not ordinarily open to the public, and is set in 20 acres of parkland and stunning gardens.

• Corporate partners and members can take advantage of the Belcombe Room, our VIP lounge, reserve pre-set picnic tables and chairs in prime spots, and book a gourmet picnic to enjoy before the performance.

Employee Wellbeing

• Offering your employees access to our varied programme of events - opera, picnic proms, family shows - is the perfect way of showing your appreciation of their hard work and commitment.

Community Engagement

Supporting If Opera helps us to deliver our What If? family and community programme. Throughout the year, we will be working at local schools across Somerset and Wiltshire, including those for young people with special educational needs and disabilities. We’re also excited to be piloting a new project to support the wellbeing of socially isolated older adults.
