ZAREKtrio
Alongside star soprano, Lucy Knight (fresh from Carnegie Hall) and International Handel Singing Competition finalist, mezzo soprano, Melissa Gregory, our Baroque by Candlelight fundraising concert is presented in partnership with the superbly talented ZAREKtrio.
ZAREKtrio capture the joy and thrill of live chamber music. They cherish the process as much as the result, connecting with the music, each other, the audience, places, people and ideas.
Performing on period instruments is at the heart of it all - and the ZAREKtrio is keen to share this sound with connoisseurs and the curious alike, bringing the rich repertoire for violin, viola da gamba and keyboard to diverse audiences. They prioritise a chamber music practice grounded in respectful, unhurried rehearsal, which, as experienced performers, they know to be irreplaceable in the pursuit of musical excellence.
Minimum suggested donation: £80 per person
(Ticket element is £50. If Opera will claim gift aid on £30 of eligible donations.)
