Oliver Gooch | Conductor, Rigoletto

Oliver has been Artistic Director of If Opera since 2019. Other opera credits include Šárka (New York), Die Zauberflöte (Milan) and L’isola disabitata (Australia). He has conducted orchestras both in the UK and overseas including the LPO, Philharmonia, Hallé, RPO, Queensland Symphony, and New York Sinfonietta. He was the inaugural Royal Opera Young Artist Associate Conductor and currently Director of the Blyth Centre for Music and Visual Arts, Imperial College London.

Michael Waldron | Conductor, Orpheus in the Underworld

Michael’s extensive operatic work includes shows and projects for the Royal Opera House, English National Opera, Buxton International Festival, and Opera Della Luna. He works regularly with many of the top orchestras and choirs in the UK and beyond. As Artistic Director of the London Choral Sinfonia, he has recorded numerous critically-acclaimed recordings.
